Why does it seem like nobody can grasp the concept of mixed people having white mothers? They always assume the mom is the brown one.
There’s lots of interesting stuff about why this actually is, like exoticism and how race and gender intersect but to be quite honest it is way too late for my brain to even consider it rn.
Incidentally, my mom is white but she’s even darker than my dad.
