  searching “butt” in my Ojibwe dictionary and cackling at all the verbs that my ancestors came up with that are butt related. 

  nabagidiye: having a flat butt

  zhaashagidiye: having a protruding butt

  zhooshkodiyebizo: sliding down quickly on your butt

  zipodiyeni: clamping your butt cheeks together/tightening/clenching your butt cheeks

  giziindime: wiping your butt

  gizhiibidiye: having an itchy butt

  baashkijiidiyaandan: squishing something with your butt

  miishidiye: having a hairy butt
